Preparation & Notes

2-3 ml Urine (u), 24-h urine (state amount collected). Store urine in a cool place during the 24 h collection period. Fill urine sample (10 ml) into urine tube and mix with 4-5 drops of 20% hydrochloric acid. Make sure the rest periods during the collection period are long enough, patients should stop taking antihypertensive agents 8 hours beforehand, if possible, and aldosterone antagonists approx. 4 weeks beforehand., methode CLIA
