The following must accompany the sample or it will be rejected 1-0.5-1.0 of bone marrow aspirate in sodium heparin 2- Complete CBC with differential report done same day. 3- One stained peripheral blood smear 4- One stained bone marrow smear, and two unstained smears 5- Complete clinical information 6-Transport at 20-25C within 24 hours. 7-Receiving days Sunday to Tuesday.
