Preparation & Notes

Tissue samples requirements for Oncomine comprehensive solid tumor panel: Formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) specimens :( 10% neutral-buffered formalin fixed for 24–72 hours) to preserve nucleic acid integrity. Slides should also be properly labeled with a block label identity that corresponds with the surgical pathology report and Pathology number (SP number linked to MRN). A minimum of 5 unstained and unbaked slides (≥10 µm Thickness) and one matching H&E- stained slide is required for testing or tissue curls ≥10 µm (7 curls/sample). In case of requesting MGMT along with NGS request, kindly provide additional material to proceed with MGMT procedure. Uncharged glass slides.
