Preparation & Notes

Register Camel sample (Dry Spot Card DBS) information in Camel APP and record the generated lab ID. Extract 10 ng/ul DNA from DBS by punching a smaller sample of the cards into a 96 well plate then start extraction. Conduct Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for 10 single locus markers SSR, Denature PCR products and run denatured samples in the ABI instrument. Analyze the results and upload the fingerprinting results to the Camel APP in preparation for final signature and upload to Camel club.
