التحضيرات والملاحظات
1)Draw Specimen in plain red top tube or Heparinized PST tube. 2) The patient must be fasting for 12 – 14 hours prior to specimen draw. 3) The patient must be without vitamin supplementation for 24 hours. 4) Newborns and premature infants should be drawn just prior to feeding. 5) Centrifuge the samples as soon as possible and store at -20°C . 6) Plasma or serum must be protected from light in plastic container. 7) Minimum 200 uL of serum or heparinized plasma is required.
