750 µl Serum (s), frozen Blood sampling in recumbent position (e.g. patients confined to bed) or blood sampling in patients (sitting upright) in the morning between 8 and 10 o' clock after resting for 15 minutes in a seated position. Before that, the patient should have been in an upright posture for at least 2 hours (sitting, standing or walking). Patients should stop taking diuretics and antihypertensive agents 8 days beforehand, if possible.
